Roles for the project scope
Responsible engineer
Clarify inputs, collect engineering questions and track decisions within the agreed scope. The responsible engineer is confirmed when the work is agreed.
Engineering review
Check the design, BOM or production documents against the service package criteria. Issues, assumptions and recommendations are recorded for customer review.
Handover & confirmation
Collect deliverable versions, resolved items and remaining open points. The customer confirms changes affecting product requirements before moving to the next step.
A traceable conversation
- Agree on goals, inputs, responsibilities and handover criteria.
- Record questions, feedback and decisions in the project conversation.
- Review results and engineering limitations before confirming handover.
